InStockRx Secures Victory at 1871 and Partners with GS1 to Enhance Global Standards and Transform Pharmacy Supply Chain

InStockRx, the world’s largest centralized inventory hub for surplus medications, was awarded the winning pitch at the 1871 Supply Chain Innovation Summit in Chicago. From a pool of over 100 companies that applied, of which 35 selected to participate in the Supply Chain cohort, InStockRx took the top spot for its innovative approach to addressing drug shortages and waste in the pharmacy supply chain.

This builds upon InStockRx recently sharing with The Supply Chain Report a new collaboration with GS1 to enhance pharmacy supply chain transparency, utilizing GS1’s standards alongside the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).
